Front cover of Granny Franny's Big Red Bus book

*AD Granny Franny’s Big Red Bus is a lovely children’s picture book all about a Granny and her plan to suprise her twin grandchildren for their birthday. Only her plan doesn’t exactly go to plan!

The book is written and illustrated by Sonia Beldom. In 2018 Sonia achieved her lifelong dream of qualifying as a bus driver. She now drives a red heritage double-decker bus around London on tours and for weddings. During the Covid-19 pandemic Sonia decided to write the book to help raise funds for bus-related charities while private hire vehicles were unable to operate.

Granny Franny’s Big Red Bus is a paperback book with 28 pages. The illustrations are bright and fun. The sentences are ideal for young readers to have a go at reading themselves.

This is a lovely heartwarming story about a Granny’s determination to get to her grandchildren’s birthday on time. They enjoy great adventures on the bus. I’m sure any little transport enthusiasts would love it! You can purchase a copy of the book on Amazon using the link* here:
