Half term is upon us and there’s lots of Halloween fun to be had! Find out below what’s on in Oxfordshire this school holiday.
Saturday 26th October
- Didcot Food Festival 10am-4pm at Didcot Civic Hall. Over 60 local, drink and street food stalls. Chef demonstrations, kids cooking zone and more.
- Pumpkin sale and apple pressing at Oxford City Farm 11am-3pm.
- Halloween family disco 7pm-12am at The Barn (Didcot).
Sunday 27th October

- Halloween market at Oxford Artisan Distillery 11am-4pm. Games, kids activities, crafts and gifts, food, fancy dress competition for kids and dogs.
- Halloween children’s owl evening at Millets Falconry Centre 4:30-6pm.
Monday 28th October
- Autumn crafts at Didcot Library 2pm for age 9+. FREE entry.
Tuesday 29th October

- Children’s mandala workshop in the Nourish cafe at Cornerstone Arts Centre 10:30-1pm. Age 10 years+. £25 per child.
- Forest Friends craft session at the River & Rowing Museum in Henley 10:30-12:30pm. £8.50 per child (read our review here: https://mumsfamilyfun.com/daysout/oxfordshire/river-rowing-museum/ )
- Spooky cake baking and decorating with Mrs Bun the Baker. 2-3pm at Cholsey Pavilion for age 2+.
- Cake decorating for kids at Berro Lounge (Didcot) 2-5pm. Donations to Guide Dogs charity.
Wednesday 30th October
- Halloween children’s owl evening at Millets Falconry Centre 4:30-6pm.
Thursday 31st October
- Halloween fun at the Orchard Centre 11am-4pm. Pick a pumpkin to design and take home. Come dressed in a Halloween costume to go trick or treating at selected retailers. FREE
- Halloween children’s owl evening at Millets Falconry Centre 4:30-6pm.
- Brass rubbing workshop at Vale & Downland Museum 10-12pm. FREE entry.
- Tricks, Treats & The Friendliest Witch at Cogges Farm 4:30-7:30pm. Follow the pumpkin trail to an evening full of wands, potions and story telling with lots of yummy treats.
- Spooktacular stories and crafts at Wantage Library 4pm for ages 3-7 years. FREE entry.
Friday 1st November
- Kids art club at the Blewbury clubhouse 9:30-3:30pm £45. Aimed at ages 8-16 years. Drawing, painting, textile and embroidery skills with 2 professional artists. Email yvette@yvettephillipsart.com for more info.
- Halloween stories, painting and crafts at Didcot Library 2-3pm for ages 3-9. FREE entry.
- Kids Brio event at Charlton Park Garden Centre in Wantage 10am-4pm. FREE entry.
- Kids creative writing workshop 10am-12pm at Wantage Library for age 8+. FREE entry. Book in advance as space limited.
- Drawing workshop with Little Foxglove at Sprouts Play Barn (Millets Farm) 10:30am-2:30pm. Draw your picture, choose your coloured vinyl, then chose what gift you would like your design printed on to. Prices vary from £11-£29 depending on what you chose.

- Halloween Howl at Millets Farm 26th October – 2nd November. Halloween quizzes and activities in the maze courtyard and woodland.
- Halloween entertainment at Blenheim Palace 26th October – 3rd November. Various events throughout the week including a ghost train, fire performances, story telling, scarecrow trail, wizards and more.
- Halloween Circus at Millets Farm 27th October -2nd November . Daily shows at 10am, 1pm and 3pm.
