Saturday 15th February
- Harry Potter Tri Wizard Games at Didcot Library 2-3pm. Puzzles, crafts and quiz aimed at 7-11 year olds. FREE but booking essential.
- Creative writing workshop at Wantage Library 9:30-10:30am for 8-13 year olds. FREE

- Young Explorers: Iron Age at Earth Trust 1:30-3:30pm. £5 per child, accompanying parents free. Take part in various activities including iron age cooking! Booking essential.
- Stay, play and learn at Wantage Library 10-11:30am. Play with sensory toys and books, ideal for babies and toddlers. FREE drop in.
Tuesday 18th February

Wednesday 19th February
- Fantastic fossils at Didcot Library 2-4pm. Make dinosaur masks and pictures, handle fossils and bring your own fossils to be identified. £2 lucky dip to take home your very own 60-300 million year old fossil! FREE drop in.
- Rhyme time at Wantage Library 9:30-10am or 10:30-11am. Singing, nursery rhymes and musical instruments. FREE drop in for under 5s.
- Plastic Free Treasure Hunt 10am-1pm. Find all the hidden plastic free messages around Didcot Town then return to King Alfred Drive Community Centre to exchange your answers for biscuits and drinks.
Thursday 20th February
- Wildlife In Winter craft activities at Abingdon County Hall Museum 10:30am-3pm. Design your own winter wonderland picture and frame or have a go at sculpting a penguin out of clay. FREE admission (Donations welcome).
- Creative writing workshop at Didcot Library 2-4pm for 7-12 year olds with local author Sue Palmer. FREE but booking essential.
Friday 21st February
- Young Explorers: Ruthless Romans at Earth Trust 1:30-3:30pm. Join in fun activities including Roman cooking and crafts. £5 per child, accompanying adults free.
- Polish language story time at Wantage Library 10:30-11:30am. FREE but you need to book as spaces limited.

- Trainmaster trains play session at Harwell Village Hall 10:30-11:30am. Masses of train track, role play, ride ons, fancy dress, etc. Book in advance.

- Stanford In The Vale – The Hidden Past Revealed exhibition at Vale & Downland Museum in Wantage. The key findings and objects will be on display from fascinating excavations in the village. Saturday 25th January – Wednesday 25th March 2020. Entry is free but donations are welcome.
- Alphabet I Spy at Waterperry Gardens 10am-5pm Saturday 15th – Sunday 23rd February. £2.50 per child, normal garden entry for adults. Find all the letters of the alphabet and win a treat.
- Magic Peter at Sprouts Play barn Monday 17th – Friday 21st February 10:30am-4pm. Book in advance online.
- Mr Hemmings hat and other curiosities at Abingdon County Hall museum. Celebrating 100 years of the museum’s collections. Saturday 11th January – Saturday 29th February 2020.
- Narnia Exhibition at Dorchester Abbey. Saturdays 10am-4pm and Sundays 2-4pm from 11th January until 8th March, plus 17th -21st February (half term week) 10am-4pm. £5 per family (2 adults and up to 4 children) or £2 per individual. Childrens’s craft workshops will be running on the Saturdays 1:30-3:30pm £2 per person
- Humour In Times Of Conflict exhibition at the Soldiers Of Oxfordshire Museum. A look at how fun and humour kept soldiers and the people going during the war. 7th November 2019 – 15th March 2020.
