What’s On In Oxfordshire 30th-31st March 2019

Here are this weekend’s events in Oxfordshire for families.  Last weekend before the Easter holidays begin!

Saturday 30th March

  • Earth Trust (Little Wittenham) lambing weekend 10am-4pm.  Meet the animals, bale climbing, tractor rides, children’s activities, refreshments and more.  Children under 2 get in free.  £8 per adult, £5 per child, £22 for a family of 4.
  • Meet local metal detectors and discover their favourite finds. Have your own items identified by the Oxfordshire Finds Liaison Officer.  Children’s trail and activities to take part in.  11-3pm at Vale and Downland Museum.  Free entry, donations welcome.  You can read our review of the museum here: https://mumsfamilyfun.com/daysout/south-east/vale-downland-museum/
  • Science Saturdays at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History 12-4pm.  Meet real scientists and have a look at historic fossils from the museum’s collection.  Free drop in

Sunday 31st March

  • Family Friendly Sundays at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History 2-4pm.  Trails, crafts and backpacks with the museum volunteers.  Free drop in.
