27th May – Family fun day at Boundary Park (Didcot GWP). 12-5pm free admission and parking. Carnival games, music, bouncy castle, face painting, etc.
27th-28th May – Common People music event for all the family in South Parks, Oxford. Big music acts, street food, bars, vintage fun fair, face painting and inflatables. See the website for ticket details http://oxford.commonpeople.net/
27th-29th May – Blenheim Palace food festival including demos, tastings, local producers and plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy.

28th May – Oxfordshire Young Farmers County Show at Earth Trust (Little Wittenham). 10am-5pm Under 5s go free. Kids £5, Adults £7.50. Family ticket £20. Dog show, sheep shearing, vintage tractors and cars, animal farm corner, pony rides, local food and produce, etc.
28th-29th May – Roman gladiators live history with battle re-enactments at Chiltern Open Air Museum. Normal admission charges apply.
28th May – Knights living history camp at Harwell recreation ground. Part of the Harwell Feast celebrations, come and learn about life as a medieval knight with combat displays. Free event. 2-5pm.
29th May – Harwell Feast. 11am-5pm. Parade, stalls, rides, vintage vehicles, animal displays, live music and more. Kids free, adults £2 in advance or £3 on the day.
29th May – Swishwiffling storytelling walk around the home village of Roald Dahl. Guided walk starting from the Roald Dahl Museum starting at 12pm, 1:30pm and 3pm. £3 per person. 30th May – Hey Little Bird workshop at Sutton Courtenay Environmental Education Centre. Puppet show and puppet making for ages 2-7. 10-12pm and 1-3pm £4 each
30th May – Real science hands on event at Vale and Downland Museum in Wantage. Free entry (donations welcome). Meet real scientists and find out what they do. 10am-3pm.
31st May – Nature in your garden drop in day at Oxford Botanic Garden. Find out how to look after nature in your own back garden and take part in craft activities and more. Children free with paying adult. 11am-1pm.
31st May – Dinosaur discovery workshop at The Oxfordshire Museum in Woodstock. Aimed at children aged 5-7 years, unearth buried bones and fossils.
1st June – Wetland wildlife family fun day at Rushy Common and Tar Lakes (near Witney). 11am-3pm. Free drop in. Pond dipping, bird hide and other activities to enjoy.
2nd June – Unveiling of the Dragon of Spindleberry Nature Park (Blackbird Leys). 10am – 2pm. Free event with lots of dragon based activities and fun for all the family.
3rd June – Full STEAM ahead family fun day at the Harwell Campus sports field. £5 per family entry fee. All activities included in price. Enjoy science workshops, rocket building, inflatable assault course, climbing wall and more. 12-5pm
