Half term is here and already this year is going so fast! It’s great to see some fun events planned in Oxfordshire for half term, lets hope the weather is kind to us! I’ve put together a list of as many as I could find but if you know of any more please feel free to send me the details to mumsfamilyfun@outlook.com and I’ll add them on. Saturday 19th February

  • Half Term Steam Days at Didcot Railway Centre with unlimited train rides all day, museum and engine sheds to explore. Try out the signals in the signal box and discover the WWII shelter.

Monday 21st February

  • Brilliant Birds and Where To Find Them 10am-2pm Sutton Courtenay Environmental Education Centre. Arrive any time, activities take around 2 hours to complete. Follow the bird trail, solve the eggy puzzle and make a bird themed craft to take home. £5 per child, adults free.
  • Magic Peter fun family magic show at Sprouts Play Barn. 10:30am, 1:30pm or 3pm. £6 per person. Tickets must be booked in advance here.
  • Toy Brick Challenge sessions at Millets Farm suitable for 6-12 year olds. £12.50 per child plus accompanying adult. Book in advance here.

Tuesday 22nd February

  • Natalie Trueman Dance Company Fun Day at Chilton Village Hall 2:15-3:45pm. Bouncy castle, ball pit, face paints, bubble machine, colouring, sweet treats and dance performance. FREE ENTRY
  • Water Wildlife family crafts and storytelling inspired by Letcombe Brook. 10am-12pm or 1-3pm at the Vale & Downland Museum. £5 per child, adults free. Book in advance.

Daily Events

  • Ashmolean Adventure fun interactive digital kids for kids at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford. Play games, quizzes, listen to stories and try out your design and drawing skills as you investigate 10 featured objects around the museum. Cost £10-£18 depending on size of group. Book online.
