Halloween Crafts

pom pom spider halloween craft

I always love it when Halloween is towards the end of half term as it means we can spend some of the holiday doing Halloween crafts. Last year we made pumpkin bunting using paper plates and used it to decorate our living room. We really enjoyed making it and have kept it to reuse each year! Some of my blogging friends have kindly shared their Halloween crafts ideas to give you some inspiration.

Fingerprint Pumpkins

These cute finger print pumpkins are made by painting paper mache pumpkins white and then using orange finger prints to do the mini pumpkins. You can get paper mache pumpkins from craft stores or you could paint a real pumpkin! You can read Jenny’s ‘How To’ guide here: https://the-gingerbread-house.co.uk/fingerprint-painted-pumpkin-for-kids

Pom Pom Spiders

Is it even Halloween if there aren’t spiders??? These cute pom pom spiders are really easy to make and you could do whatever colours you like. Jane uses a pom pom machine to make her pom poms but you could do it the old fashioned way using cardboard rings or even buy ready made ones. You’ll also need some googley eyes and pipe cleaners. Pumpkin Photo Frames

I absolutely love these pumpkin photo frames that double up as sun catchers. They look so cute! They’d also make a lovely little Halloween keepsake. You could do one each year with a recent photo and make a whole pumpkin patch of them on your window! Paper Spider Webs

These paper spider webs are made in the same way as paper snowflakes. You then use a sponge to stamp black paint on them and cut out a spider shape to finish them off. They look great!
